Not all life skills can be learnt at school, Turn the Tide offers a fantastic opportunity to learn to how to make a canoe in a limited amount of time.
Test yourself and compete with your friends in a fun, survivalist activity that you won’t find anywhere else. Using basic tools and materials you will be able to put your survivalist skills to the test as you learn to build a canoe.
This is a great chance for anyone with an interest in woodwork, design and construction to learn new skills and get to grips with basic woodworking tools! While we can’t guarantee the canoe your going to make will be sea worthy (as that depends on how good you are at making one), we can guarantee you’ll have fun.
